Alison Ward

Hi, I'm Alison (she/her), a writer and a public relations specialist trained in many areas of public relations and communications including press releases, media training, media relations, website creation, video work, blog posts, press kits, pitching and social media campaigns.  

 

I'm a journalism public relations and sociology graduate from Western Washington University, who is currently located in the Seattle, WA area. During my time at Western I learned the fundamental rules and skills to becoming a public relations professional while exploring the study of human society's development, structure and functioning through sociology. I also gained network opportunities and knowledge through PRSSA and PRSA and led a team of writers as an editor for The Front and Klipsun Magazine. So far, I have worked with three amazing organizations, CASCADIA International Women's Film Festival, Boundary Bay Brewery, and The Seattle Theatre Group. I want to keep learning and growing both my interpersonal and technical skills to strive to be the most successful version of myself.

 

When I'm not working you can find me singing and geeking out to musicals, on a hike or out with my friends. I have performed in theatre and musical theatre for over 11 years and strive to use my same passion for the arts towards public relations.
